APPLICATION
For the most uniform finish for larger areas, if possible, we recommend application by spray, which is also the most economical method as the coating can be applied to the maximum coverage per gallon. Applications by brush also produce a very uniform surface and are the recommended method of application for smaller areas or areas where it is not possible to spray. The roughest texture will be obtained when coating is applied by roller, the rolling method should be used only when maximum coarseness is desired. Masking tape is recommended prior to application. If using PU 301 SEALER as a top coat, leave masking tape in place for application of sealer. Allow sealer to dry before removal. If application results in a rougher texture than desired for certain areas, lightly sand with sand paper until desired texture is obtained, before applying PU 301 SEALER. Be sure to blow off area with air hose, before applying sealer. In the event that the sealer has been already applied, apply 2-3 additional coats of PU 301 SEALER, to obtain a smoother finish.
