MIXING
To mix, you must have the following cans: A-Component, B-Component & Thinner 120
|
- The A-Component is the polyurethane base with the colorant and silica sand, B-Component is the hardener and the last can is the thinning agent.
- DO NOT OPEN B-COMPONENT UNTIL READY TO MIX. THE B-COMPONENT MUST BE CLEAR AS WATER. IF IT HAS A CLOUDY APPEARANCE, DO NOT USE. Contact your dealer or Safety-Skid at 1-800-433-2299 for a free replacement.
- MIX THE ENTIRE GALLON. Do not attempt to mix only half. The B-Component, once exposed to air and humidity, will harden. Add the entire B-Component into the A-Component.
- Next, add 1/2 to 3/4 of the Thinner 120 (10-15 oz.) per gallon set.
- Mix until the coating becomes uniform. For best results, we recommend using a drill with a paint mixing adapter. The remaining thinner will be used to maintain the original consistency throughout application.
